Cheryl called Eating Experts on the advice of her physician.  Her cholesterol level was elevated and wanted to try food changes before medication was prescribed.   During the assessment, Cheryl stated that she never knew what to make for meals and they were usually "hit or miss".  One of the first things we did was to plan a week's menus and a grocery list.   She felt more calm and more empowered  with this behavior change.

Kate, who was diagnosed with anorexia at age 14, began treatment at a residential treatment center.  After 2 months of eduation and therapy, she returned home and to high school.  Kate and her family contacted Kathie and a therapist for her outpatient treatment.  She kept appointments, participated in support groups, followed her meal plan, struggled with body image and emerged as a healthy and vigorous college student 4 years later.

Lillian had struggled with weight issues for the past 30 years.  During that time, she had dieted repeatedly, vomited at times, and exercised excessively.  After an injury forced her to stop her running, she made an appointment with Eating Experts to finally address her eating  issues.
She began to listen to her body-- something she had ignored for many years-- and was amazed to discover her body's wisdom.   She began to eat more protein for breakfast and noticed how cravings disappeared  during the day.  She started yoga and began to move the way her body wanted.  Her journey to recovery has begun.
